Watling Street Practice actively supports clinical research studies within primary care.
The NHS constitution states that research is a core function of the NHS. Clinical research is a major driver of innovation, and central to NHS practice for maintaining and developing high standards of patient care. Ultimately, clinical research means patients get access to new treatments, interventions and medicines. Investment in research means better, more cost effective care for patients.
We thank you for considering opportunities to contribute to important research.
INDIGO Study
We are working with Imperial College London to better understand the lives of people who have been diagnosed with cancer. We believe that your experiences and views could make a real difference to future care and support.
We are inviting certain patients to take part in a research study called Indigo, which aims to explore how people live with and beyond cancer. By completing an online survey, you can help us learn more about what matters most to patients like you.
Taking part is completely voluntary and the survey can be completed at a time that’s convenient for you. Your responses will be kept confidential and will only be used for research purposes.
There are specific criteria for this study so if you have been sent a text and would like to take part, please follow the link in the text.
